Before and After - A flooded house!

The home you see below was flooded by a broken pipe and the entire first level flooring was damaged, including the tile, carpet and laminate in every room.  The insurance company called us in for an estimate and project manager Jeff Marshall saw the extent of the damage.  Luckily the concrete slab was still intact and and the customer was interested in something durable as well as bright and modern.  After pulling up all the damaged flooring, the existing surface was prepped then troweled smooth and Acid Stain was applied in Canyon on the entire first level of the home, including the living room, family room, kitchen and dining area, playroom, and office.  A perfect example of how you can update your home with a beautiful concrete stain.

Encinitas garage

This garage floor had an old epoxy paint chip system that was in need of updating and repair. Project manager Todd Cook reground the floor to increase the concrete profile and added Safe Grip for skid resistance. This is a 100% Solids Thin Film Epoxy System in Tile Red which will hold up to wear and tear and be easily maintainable for years to come.

Eco Friendly floor in Rancho Santa Fe

Todd Cook's crew was able to grind, stain and seal this garage floor all in one day. The floor was stained with SC-35X Water-Based Stain in Sepia and Sahara and then sealed with SC-65 Water-Based polyurethane. This combination of products makes this an excellent example of an eco-friendly and durable solution for a light traffic residential garage.

Allergy friendly floor for family pet in Escondido

Project Manager Todd Cook had customers in Escondido with a dog that has allergies so they needed a floor that was easy to maintain and keep clean for their family pet. Todd's crew removed the existing tile and carpet to reveal a concrete substrate to work with. The floor was prepped and stained with a mix Light Brown and Brown Fast Stain and sealed with EC-11 and SC-66 Water-Based Polyurethane. This combination makes for a low VOC and eco friendly floor that will last and keep allergies to a minimum.

U.S. University

Here we have an impressive 20,000 square foot Fast Stain job at U.S. University in Chula Vista. This look was accomplished by grinding, staining and sealing existing concrete. The use of several colors creates a dynamic flow throughout the facility and the water-based sealer is durable while maintaining a medium gloss finish.
