Cohn Restaurant Group Corporate Offices

Life Deck has done the floors in several of the Cohn Restaurants and this year they asked us to do the floors at their headquarters in Liberty Station.  The Cohns originally wanted to grind and seal the floors, but after inspection, project manager Gil Koury new the existing concrete was not in the best condition for that option. The Cohns and their design team really wanted to have the look of troweled concrete. Our team installed a TC-4 smooth troweled cement overlay and then sealed the floors with EC 96 satin polyurethane topcoat. The finished product came out beautiful, and really matched the urban sheik design of the new offices for The Cohn Restaurant Group!

Sweet garage floor in Olivehain

Most people tend to put an epoxy floor system down on their garage floor because it is east to keep clean and can handle vehicle traffic but when the right sealer is used you can choose from a variety of stains as well.  This customer wanted her ugly vinyl floor removed and loved the look of stained concrete. Gil knew just what to do, he cleaned up the existing concrete and stained with with our Water-Based Stain (Mahogany and Onyx) then sealed it with our ultra-tough EC-11 sealer.

We never know who might stop by...

Gil Koury got a special visitor at the last HMA table top he did this Fall. Looks like Shamu was checking out some Texture-Crete, maybe for his pool deck?
