Life Deck is very happy to announce the newest Project Consultant to our team, Kevin Ross!
Kevin brings more than 18 years experience in the coatings industry. Starting his career in 1994 as a lead epoxy installer, Kevin grew his knowledge and experience when he received his contractor’s license in 1999 and focused on industrial, commercial and waterproof coating installations. Using the building boom as a platform, he launched into the decorative markets adding decorative epoxies, garage floors, concrete resurfacing, stamped overlays, concrete staining, pool decks, deck coatings, concrete sealing and residential projects to further his skills and serve the growing coating market.
Kevin started his own company, Coatings Pros, in 2007 to provide contracting and consultant services targeting general contractors and large coating/flooring contractors. Kevin has performed inspections and reports as a CA CSLB Industry Expert, which led to becoming involved with “concrete polishing,” a segment that is becoming one of the latest trends in interior flooring. His expertise in concrete conditions, restoration/repair methods and proper product specifications are an important factor in the overall quality and success of his projects. His experience has led to a keen understanding of the retail remodeling segments of the industry.
Across the country, Kevin has performed coating projects in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Texas, Florida, Illinois, Guam, Mexico and Canada. His projects have been featured in magazines, material brochures, websites, and blogs.
“Kevin’s well-rounded industry knowledge will provide our customers and clients with a professional working relationship, from the initial onsite consultation, all the way to the finished project,” said President Paul Koury. “With our business growing, we were looking for a coatings veteran to take the reigns in sales. Kevin was an obvious and smart choice. All of us at Life Deck welcome Kevin to our team of sales pros.”
