When Project Manager Scott Tischler inspected this back yard oasis he soon discovered that there were two
different concrete slab's poured next to each other. The customer wanted all areas to blend together. Scott's crew had to adjust the amount of
color and do some detailed blending to make a more uniform look. They used Acid Stain in Bronze and then sealed all areas with SC-42 Water-Based Acrylic Sealer to achieve this look and just in time for the upcoming pool season. Beautiful! Thanks for posting the pictures that go along with Scott's project. I see what you mean by the deck being different styles. He did a great job of blending it, though! Acid staining gives pool decks such a great look, especially if it coordinates with the style of pool and the type of ground that is on the bottom of it. I will have to put a coating like this down on my driveway. I want to re-stain my wooden deck as well because I want my property to look nice again. I think that I have everything that I need aside from the time that I will have to set aside for the project.

ReplyDeleteThis surfacing will help my young kids that are a bit too wobbly on their feet. Kids do tend to run and be a bit careless during times of fun. If the surface of the deck could add a bit of a safety measure towards keeping them safe, I would love it.
